The Technical Chamber of Greece deals specifically with companies in the engineering sector. All engineers in Greece are required to become members to the Chamber in order to get licensed. Furthermore, the Technical Chamber serves as the most important consultant to government authorities as it pertains to any scientific matter.
The Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry is Greece's second largest Chamber. The TCCI is the leading commercial authority in the Northern regions of Greece, where a large percentage of Greek exporters are located. Included in the chamber's activities are international relations, with the TCCI not only being a consultant to domestic and foreign authorities, but also organizing events with foreign chambers in order to facilitate the promotion of Greek products abroad.
The Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) ensures that business development in Piraeus is constantly occurring. The PCCI organizes many events, both domestic and international, to ensure that businesses are not only well informed, but also in compliance with a variety of international legal statutes. As a result of this constant activity, the PCCI frequently provides input to national committees regarding the regional development of Piraeus.
The National Confederation of Hellenic Commerce is a very important fixture in the Greek business community, especially because it is the official Organisation in Greece that is affiliated with Euro-Med TDS.
